About Cultural Centers of Lincoln

The Cultural Centers of Lincoln is not organized for profit but is organized for charitable, educational, and cultural purposes. The Cultural Centers of Lincoln serves as a model of multicultural collaboration to develop a public dialogue that will increase understanding of the value of diversity for Lincoln/Lancaster County and all Nebraska communities. While each community cultural center represents a distinct constituency, they share many characteristics, values, and goals. The Cultural Centers of Lincoln operates to support the individual centers, while building upon their strengths in a collaborative manner to produce community outcomes centered on diversity, social justice, and cultural competency. The centers began meeting on a regular basis in 1999 where Asian Community and Cultural Center, El Centro De Las Americas, Malone Community Center and Indian Center as Cultural Centers Coalition. The Good Neighbor Community Center and Ponca Tribe of Nebraska joined the Cultural Centers Coalition a little after 2010 and in 2020 the Cultural Centers Coalition became Cultural Centers of Lincoln. **Learn more about our current, Cultural Centers of Lincoln Collaborative project here - https://culturalcentersoflincolncollaborative.com/
